Logistics Customer Service Representative Job at Meiborg Inc.
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Customer Service Representative is to act as a liaison, provide products/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Respond to email in a timely manner
- First escalation point in delivery error situations (quantity issues, missing shipment, missing documents)
- Work with freight forwarders to get booking instruction and confirm that shipments are delivered to the correct location
- Must maintain continuous communication with the shipping foreman and work with them to resolve issues
- Work with accounts payable on any freight billing issues
- Build and maintain relationships with the sales representatives from freight companies
- Takes and schedules orders, additions, and cancellations
- Answers inquiries on warranty, unsatisfactory merchandise, shipping discrepancies, delivery dates and distributor information
- Contribute to a team setting and accomplish the desired goal efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve, resolve conflict, and multi-task
- Capacity to analyze and retain information
- Proficient documentation skills
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office; Google Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and computer software platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
