A-little about us:
Stoup Brewing has partnered up with the Weimann Maclise family of restaurants to transition the old Seaplane Kitchen and Bar into Stoup Brewing Kenmore where Jason Stoneburner heads up the culinary program with stone hearth pizzas, salads and beer-friendly plates.

We're looking for experienced and passionate cooks to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing high quality comfort food with a focus on Northwest ingredients, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and has a sense of urgency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years' experience as a Cook in the restaurant industry preferred, but not required
  • Able to read and follow standardized recipes
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
  • ServeSafe Certification preferred, but not required
  • Food Handler's permit required
  • Positive Attitude
  • Flexible Schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
  • Maintain accurate food inventories
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift'
