Live on-site Handyman Job at Consolidated Apartments Inc
Consolidated Apartments Inc is a small family owned and operated apartment complex. We have 3 multi-family buildings located in Spotswood, NJ totaling 81 units.
We are looking for an experienced individual for a live on-site Handyman postion (1 bedroom apartment and utilities included (not including cable/internet) after a probationary period. The position is responsible for the care and comfort of the residents including general interior and exterior maintenance, repairs in apartments and buildings, and responding to service requests of the residents.
Handman responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Speedy apartment turn overs
- Painting, Spackling, Sanding, and Sheetrock
- Preventitive Maintenance
- General Carpentry
- Basic Plumbing
- Basic Electrical
- Install/Remove cabinets, faucets, sinks, toilets, etc.
- Appliance repairs
- Clogged drains and sewer lines
- Ice/Snow removal
Requirements:
- 5 years previous experience
- Valid Drivers License
- On Call for services as necessary including nights and weekends
- Ability to deal with tenants and staff in a respectful and courteous manor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
