About the Role:

As a Massage Therapist, you'll join a high growth practice and dedicated team that's passionate about delivering exceptional care and advancing our mission to positively impact the community we serve. You’ll combine your expertise and modalities to design customized services to meet the individual needs of each patient and client. You’ll build meaningful, and long-term relationships that help them pursue their wellness goals. You’ll bring optimism, strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide an impressive experience.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to identify each patient/client's unique needs, set clear expectations, and stay connected throughout the session to achieve the goals of every service
  • Adapt to a changing work environment and effectively interact and communicate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and relational skills to build your massage therapy business
  • Commit to safety and providing a therapeutic, healing environment for you as well as the patients/clients
  • Practice patience, sensitivity, and confidentiality and maintain records of patient/client history
  • Possess good judgment and common sense in handling client concerns and issues
  • Embrace natural healthcare philosophies and educate patients on the benefits of natural healthcare alternative such as chiropractic care and massage therapy

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Massage Therapy License or Certification as required by the state of Minnesota
  • Ability to work 20 – 30 hours per week
  • Completion of a criminal background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Must possess the stamina, strength, and flexibility to perform treatments for extended periods of time (standing, bending and applying pressure with hands and arms)
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform multiple massages in one day.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Two plus years’ experience performing massage therapy with a minimum of 500 education hours
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Additional modality training such as: Prenatal, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Stone Therapy is highly desired
  • Willingness to grow by continuing education to build on their modality mastery

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
