TITLE: Licensed Athletic Trainer

DEPARTMENT: Rehabilitation

POSITION STATUS/HOURS: Part-time, .75fte (60 hours/pay period) with varying shifts between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Schedule will be driven by needs of the department and local sports schedule. Includes mostly evening and some weekend game coverage for River Ridge and Fennimore School Districts. Additional hours may be available in the Outpatient Rehab Department as well as game coverage for Lancaster, Cassville, and Potosi School Districts.

Benefit eligible position.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Athletic Trainer will assist in the provision of practice and game medical coverage

within the athletic trainer’s scope of practice for area schools. This will require the candidate

to travel to area communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed or Certified Athletic Trainer in the State of Wisconsin. Must exhibit excellent professional human relation skills. Also need to demonstrate the ability to work as a team player, ability to multi-task, ability to problem solve and work independently. Must have a valid driver’s license.
