Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts. Typical start times between 7-8am. You will primarily work from home with the expectation of working in the Banner Health Corporate Phoenix office when needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves as a resource to work with attorneys to improve the responsiveness of legal support provided to customers and to ensure that non-attorney work is performed at the appropriate level, thus enhancing the productivity of attorneys. This position will provide support in various areas such as contracting, outside counsel support, legal billing, metrics, entity support, transactions, and special projects. This position performs highly sensitive and complex legal work including preparation and organization of documents, interacting with customers and vendors, performing broad-based factual and legal research, reviewing and interpreting general and confidential documents, compiling information, identifying potential risks, using subject matter expertise to identify and perform ongoing reviews, and generating comprehensive reports summarizing results and recommending solutions.

3. Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests. Interacts primarily with department and cross-department peers, supervisor, customers, peers’ managers, patients and physicians.


4. Makes decisions within approved operating plans and objectives and within functional policies and precedents. Determines how and when to achieve results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working knowledge with Office system and database technology experience in the health care arena.

Moderate experience, typically gained through two to four years relevant experience.

Effective communicator, critical analysis skills, organization, ease of working with corporate and company documentation and policies, experience with computer applications, discretion with confidential/sensitive information, customer service orientation. Ability to independently handle projects with minimal supervision. Experience in a Legal Department or law firm. Legal operations experience.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
