Kids R Kids Barker Cypress is currently hiring Pre-school Teacher Positions:

Lead and Assistant Preschool Teacher

Infant and toddler positions

Ability to relate positively with young children, and handle whatever it takes to make our customers happy mentality.

· Ability to effectively conduct activities with young children and to effectively supervise children.

· Ability to maintain the utmost self-control and patience and to exhibit a positive tone and behavior with the young children in our care.

· The good judgment to notify supervisors of anything that merits their attention.

·Strong verbal/oral communication skills. The ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally.

· Ability to exercise sound judgment particularly in a crisis situation.

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Physical stamina -- must be able to bend, stand, sit on the floor, etc.

· Must meet basic requirements of a child care regulatory agency to maintain a safe environment for children

·Knowledge about the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children based on education, past work experience, or as a parent or caretaker of a child.

· Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the workplace including the ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally.

· Flexibility & Adaptability.

· Previous teaching with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, child care center, summer day camp, or church nursery for at least 1 year required.
