SUMMARY: Oversees other Material Handlers in designated area by ensuring work orders go out. Performs warehouse work related to shipment, receiving, storage, distribution or delivery of product and materials.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Responsible for reporting to Logistics Manager for performance of assigned functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following and other assignments as determined by the Company.
Responsible for shipment of freight, ensuring products are packaged, cleaned and labeled correctly;
May receive material in for proper storage in warehouse;
Ensures bills of lading and packing slip contain necessary information;
Loads product onto trucks in a safe and timely manner;
Stages finished goods from production in staging area on shipping docks, determining destination (to be shipped or placed in proper location in warehouse);
Prepares paperwork as needed;
Notifies Customer Service when returned inks are received;
Weighs and records returned inks to ensure agreement with the bills of lading, notifies Customer Service of any discrepancies;
Operates forklift for loading and unloading of materials, pallets; stages and unloads shipments;
Maintains a clean work environment, which includes cleaning and upkeep of equipment, waste disposal and keeping of equipment in safe working order;
Operates within guidelines, regulations, and policies; following all safety and environmental guidelines, regulations and policies;
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
In addition to the above there may be additional duties assigned in order to complete the job at hand. Follow Health and Safety Guidelines, waste prevention, Stock Rotation.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma, GED, College (specify years & degree needed)
Language skills- English
Mathematical skills- Some
Reasoning ability-
Computer skills- SAP helpful, Microsoft Office
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Forklift
Other skills and abilities- Sit down fork truck
Other qualifications-
Physical demands- The ability to lift 50 lbs, requires standing 50%, requires using continuous hand movements, able to see and read instructions clearly, etc.
