Laborer Job at Meredith Used Car Sales & Recycling
We are a Metal Recycling company looking for an individual for our Non-Ferrous Department. Non-ferrous metals include aluminum, brass, copper, etc.
Job tasks will include:
· Assisting customers unloading metals
· Weighing metals
· Sorting metals
· Preparing metals for shipment
· Operate and maintain recycling equipment
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
· Valid Driver’s License
· HS diploma or equivalent
· No criminal history
· Punctual
· Trustworthy
· Self-starter
· Good communication skills
· Must be a Good “Fit” with co-workers
· This job can be physically demanding, must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Fork-lift and skid-steer experience a plus but not required
We are open weekdays as well as Saturday mornings. Candidate will work 4 nine-hour shifts during the week as well as 4 hours on Saturdays, for a total of 40/hours per week.
Starting pay is $13.00/hours, possibly more with experience.
