• 2 year experince required in Laboratory - Pathology Assistant
• Department Details:
• Specimens include: GI, GN, ENT, Hemp., Spin & Soft tissue, Neuro, Bone, GYN, Breast

• Required Skills Experience: Grossing Surgical & Biopsy specimen, frozen specimen
• Annual Surgical Case Volume: 50,000
• Work Setting Experience: Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital
• Histology: Core Biopsies, Curetting’s, Decalcification, Excision Specimen, Formalin, Frozen Section/Tissues, Incisional Biopsies, Methods of freezing, Gross and all Major and minor specimens, Gross biospies
• Scrubs: Provided

CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• COVID19- vaccination card
• BLS Certificate BY AHA
• NYSDOH License as a Pathologist Assistant
• Preferred: ASCP-PA
