Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Labor & Delivery Certified Surgical Tech PRN you will be is responsible for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the Labor and Delivery operating room suites and labor room suites. Our team is dedicated to patient care, apply today!

• You will assist with surgical procedures in scrub duties, and in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel.
• You will assist the registered nurse before, during, and after deliveries with patient and room care, set up, and cleaning
• You will assist registered nurse with transporting patients and belongings as directed, as well as clerical duties or other duties as assigned in order to facilitate the continuum of care for each patient.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS Required
• Successful completion of a surgical technician program
• Current Surgical Technician Certification through NBSTSA Required
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One-year experience in acute-care setting as a surgical technician.
