At Wegmans, a Product Owner is responsible for leading a cross-functional agile team to design, develop and continuously improve a product within our future digital store. You will be accountable to create and manage product roadmaps, deliver user stories and acceptance criteria for features, make quick decisions, and track key metrics for your product, maintaining constant communication with leadership, stakeholders, engineers and your cross-functional team.

What will I do?

  • Develop user stories, translate business priorities into clear technical requirements, articulate acceptance criteria, assess feature value, and prioritize the team’s backlog
  • Ensure we are building a product that provides maximum value to customers and aligns with strategy
  • Develop, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes customer feedback, business priorities, and technical / design feasibility and plan iterations accordingly to meet goals
  • Use agile methodology and foster collaboration with a team of designers, engineers, and testers and drive results while balancing business opportunity with technical complexity
  • Collaborate with the team to solve complex challenges quickly and meet sprint deadlines, being accountable for making final decisions for the team
  • Communicate with leadership and outside stakeholders to gain support and ensure all needs are met
  • Set and track core metrics that a feature must deliver and ensure each feature is A/B tested

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience managing a product, service, or system
  • Ability to quickly build credibility, influence, and make recommendations with leadership and/or across business units
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of Wegmans’ eCommerce business
  • Digitally engaged with frequent use of eCommerce tools or proven technical aptitude
  • Experience leading cross-functional efforts
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience using data to make decisions
  • Passion for solving problems through technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
