Ways You’ll Make an Impact

  • Device Set Up & Troubleshooting
    • Monitoring Middleware
    • Data Communication Performance Monitoring
    • In partnership with our third-party support, Electric, Install our wipe user software.
    • Assist in overall pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding tech procedures a smooth transition of software and applications on equipment
    • Assist in troubleshooting all IT-related issues
    • Provide in-house training to employees in the proper use of IT-related software and hardware
    • Provide technical support for Mac and PC operating systems
    • Diagnose and correct problems with any hardware or software and coordinating with our third-party IT vendor, Electric
  • Inventory & Resource Maintenance
    • Review Records and keeping individuals up to date with status of their requests
    • Update and maintain labels on all devices, cross reference with master inventory tracker.
    • Identify equipment that needs to be repaired or replaced
    • Develop & refresh guides for Tech How-To’s.
    • Document and communicate project status to internal stakeholders
    • Ensure daily optimal performance of all computer systems
    • Working with the People & Culture team with manage access control systems
  • Software & Innovative Tech Solutions Support
    • Supporting the People & Culture team with ad hoc responsibilities
    • Identify areas of improvement for overall IT processes
    • Provide technical guidance and advice to management and internal stakeholders

What You’re Bringing

  • 0-1 years experience in the IT industry, including previous internship experience
  • In depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, Follow established policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Remote Desktop Technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills - can research, solve, and communicate complex software issues
  • Must have knowledge of Gmail and Google Apps


Special Notes

  • This role has an hourly rate of $20 - $25 per hour
  • Candidates will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • Candidates who are able to work multiple semesters are highly preferred
  • This role will be located in our NYC office and our office is now open for hybrid work. You must reside, or be willing to relocate, within commuting distance of the office for this role.
