The Inventory Coordinator shall maintain all records of inventory transactions, monitor asset locations, and maintain equipment certifications. This position is responsible to assist with cycle counts and year end inventories. The position shall suggest any required adjusted inventory levels for typical shelf items as per future workloads. Create requisitions for inventory stock, third-party repairs, and repair parts for our internal repair department. Work closely with our Warehouse Staff for the smooth and efficient tracking of movement of equipment, tools, and supplies.

Essential Functions

  • Actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”
  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
  • Maintain all records in the Inventory Management System
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain a data base for all certified equipment and small tools.
  • Monitor and inform the Inventory Control Supervisor when equipment is due for certifications.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in all aspects of inventory.
  • Help maintain our equipment ID numbering system.
  • Report on lost tools, scrapped equipment, repair estimates (internal & external), usage reports for consumables.
  • Maintain minimum levels of stocked materials through blanket order releases.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with receiving or inventory management preferred but not required.
  • Experience with warehouse operations and inventory controls functions a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; excellent data entry skills, experience in Inventory Management System software is a strong plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze information for discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others.
  • Work may include frequent pushing, pulling, carrying, or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
