FTI is looking for an Integration Master Scheduler (IMS) to support our customer in their software development efforts. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and will report to the customer site in Chantilly, VA. *Qualified candidates must be located within a commutable distance, or willing to relocate, to Chantilly, VA as this role requires teammates to report onsite.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules.
  • Managing the live schedules and IMS and ensure that they are kept up to date.
  • Working with mission partner and other subcontractors to gather scheduling and milestone input for long-term IMS.
  • Lead process control, procurement, subcontracting, risk management, assignment coordination, interaction with customers, and activity duration.
  • Be the main Point of Contact (POC) for the development of program scheduling.
  • Publish high level integrated master schedules in accordance with the requirements or needs of the necessary stakeholders.
  • Resolve and mitigate potential schedule issues.
  • Plan and support project scheduling efforts as well as working with project teams.
  • Your experience should allow you to see potential schedule and risk issues as you plan/manage the IMS.
  • Attend leadership meetings and provide input and preparation as required.
Education/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI DoD Clearance and the ability to obtain CI Poly.
  • 2+ years actively working as a Project/Master Scheduler.
  • Understanding of Agile development process and knowledge of how to schedule sprints and product increments is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with geographically dispersed team.
  • Excellent Communications skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to easily and comfortably interact with all levels in the Govt. and with mission partners/subcontractors.
  • Persistence and commitment to work with the team to get the job done.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Project and/or Milestones Professional project scheduling tools.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
