POSITION SUMMARY
The Integration Engineer II is responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and upload of data functions for the company. After the groundwork has been laid, the Integration Engineer II must test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. The Integration Engineer II will work closely with the Integration Engineer III to produce ETLs used to transform client data and improve internal processes using the Actian (Pervasive) Data Integration tool as well as IBM B2Bi. The ability to effectively manage projects will be required to see these tasks to conclusion. Frost-Arnett Company does not sponsor applicants for work visas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides documentation and communication regarding project completion timelines.
  • Ownership of the daily data processing and loading.
  • Facilitates communication between clients and/or personnel regarding the status of data processing.
  • Provides quality control functions related to incoming data.
  • Maintains ETL processes to ensure data veracity.
  • Develops new ETLs used for client onboarding.
  • Manages the data hold queue and ensures prompt resolution.
  • Provides quality control functions related to incoming data.
  • Analyzes and evaluates policies and procedures followed by the department and proposes new policies/procedures and/or revisions to existing policies/procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal regulations, state statutes, bankruptcy laws, FDCPA, and all other applicable laws and regulations governing activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Two (2) year college degree required, four (4) year degree preferred.
  • Ability to type at minimum 50wpm with 95+% accuracy rate.
  • Two (2) or more years of software development experience, IBM B2Bi preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of database development experience, TSQL preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of API development experience, Python preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee works in a temperature-controlled office environment. The employee sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours, answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone, types on a standard keyboard, and reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
