The Master Scheduler is able to independently manage, integrate, and provide visibility of program element schedules and major product deliverables within CAPFLEETS IMS. CAPFLEET Master Scheduler must have advanced scheduling expertise with the ability to identify time frames for key vehicle milestones and ensure alignment of sub-tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking, and completion.

KEY TASKS

Develop, maintain, and conduct analysis on CAPFLEET Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Master Plans.

Experience as a master scheduler and/or production scheduler in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and experience in MRP and/or ERP systems (SAP) related to inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and capacity.

Integrate all program activities, associated interdependencies, durations, and resource requirements to construct and maintain a program-level IMS.

Provide subject matter expertise and reporting in scheduling, critical path analysis, and program coordination.

Provide "what-if" analysis using standard schedule analysis methodologies and potential courses of action with forecasts and risk assessments due to program changes or external influence showing an impact to critical path.

Perform analysis on IMS submissions to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Facilitate, attend, and participate in all meetings and working groups associated with these tasks and provide research and guidance for each working group area of responsibility.

Be involved in the documentation, coordination, validation, approval, reporting, and configuration control of schedule and cost baselines.

Provide assessment of impacts of proposed revisions to the Program Schedules and Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).

Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure the contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met (working closely with cost analyst) - Arranges modifications as required.

Has the ability to develop management information from the IMS to include corrective action, critical path analysis, performance tracking, and reporting.

Tracks plans and schedules, solicits regular updates, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts

EXPERIENCE

  • Education: A/A degree “Supply Chain Management” or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years of professional experience implementing and utilizing industry scheduling best practices and procedures in the federal government.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
