Responsibilities:
This is an opportunity to join the Underwriting and Reinsurance department as a reporting analyst, at a time when there is great scope to develop within the underwriting discipline. Underwriting Compliance is responsible for ensuring the company’s underwriting practices comply with local regulations around the world, and for issuing reports providing underwriting data to regulators. As regulatory scrutiny continues to increase globally, so too does the volume and complexity of reports that Underwriting Compliance submits.
The successful candidate will apply their understanding of the company’s business to identify the appropriate data to extract from our databases, manipulate it to meet the reporting instructions, and format it into the final report. They will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of their own portfolio of regular reports and ad hoc reports.
Qualifications:
The position minimum requirements are as follow:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Math, Statistics or Operations Research
- One to five years relatable experience
- Basic to advanced experience with database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server & Access
- The ability to identify and understand the data used in statutory reporting, to access the data, and to evaluate the integrity of the data
The hiring range for this position dependent on final grade and title is $76,200 to $109,500 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
