Global Technology Risk Management (GTRM) organization’s mission and vision is to maintain and mature an adaptive cybersecurity program that manages the cyber risk posture of Yum! Brands’ digital and information assets while protecting brand value and maintaining trust. The role of the Information Security Policy Analyst is to support the GTRM function, develop and deploy repeatable scalable, and cost-effective information governance solutions for corporate needs.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Governance Risk and Compliance, the Information Security Policy Analyst is a key member of the Information Security GRC team. In conjunction with GTRM strategic goals, the incumbent must have the aptitude to mature the policy program and effectively communicate with internal and external teams. The candidate shall establish and report key metrics and influence the adoption of global security through technical writing. The ability to effectively engage stakeholders is required.

Salary Range: $82,400to $106,700 annually + bonus.This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Leadership Characteristics:

  • Serve as an internal consult and advisor in policy development
  • Drive ownership of the PSPG process
    • Harden the PSPG process (mature the program)
    • Establish and report key metrics
    • Influence content language communications
    • Engage the appropriate audience leading to publishing documents
  • Drive business relationship with policy management vendor services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, GRC on establishing project prioritization
  • Lead the migration of PSPG documents into an automated platform
  • Coordinate the writing, review and finalization of Yum! policies, standards, procedures and guidelines (PSPG)
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in document development
  • Coordinate meetings across multiple internal and external business teams
  • Convey document presentation to mid and senior leadership
  • Stay abreast of NIST and other related best practices conducive to Yum! markets
  • Construct new policies in alignment with NIST requirements and in accordance with internal IT security changes
  • Assist Sr Manager, GRC in the redesign of PSPG templates and presentation
  • Influence development of policies that impact GTRM operations and data security
  • Develop a familiarity of Yum! policies, standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Mature the PSPG program through effective and thorough document writing
  • Possess the aptitude to assertively recommend content language
  • Assure annual reviews are published in a timely manner
  • Possess the ability to upload documents and edit documents within the PSPG webpage
  • Maintain the PSPG full list (internal and external lists)
  • Ability to collaborate with business teams external to GTRM
  • Periodic progress reporting (document status and program metrics)
  • Support other related duties as necessary

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in communication and writing skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT governance, risk and compliance
  • 2- 3 years’ experience working with mid and senior-level leadership
  • 3-5 years ‘experience in SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of M365 bundle (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Some experience in IT security control reasoning

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Information Technology)
  • Technical Writing

  • Ability to effectively communicate all levels of management
  • Inquisitive, problem-solving, with ability to understand large, complex systems in a global setting
  • Strong organizational skills
