Infant Teacher (F/T) Westport Montessori Job at Montessori School
Westport Montessori is a family-owned childcare facility in the heart of Westport. We are proud to serve our local families and provide a safe learning environment for their children!
We are now hiring a full-time teacher for our infant (6 weeks to 12 months) classrooms. We are seeking a patient, energetic, and loving individual who has a passion for Early Childhood Education. Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
- prepare bottles (or food) and feed children on schedules provided by the parents
- change diapers every 2 hours
- follow safe sleep practices
- provide age-appropriate activities
- communicate with parents regarding daily activities
- light classroom cleaning
This is a full time (40 hours), Monday-Friday, position.
We offer reduced childcare tuition for children of employees. We are closed on weekends and closed on all major holidays, including Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving. Full time employees receive paid holidays off and paid vacation time.
