Human Resources Manager Job at AWH MGMT GRP LLC
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our Southern Illinois Dispensaries. This is an opportunity to lead employee relations and generalist functions, and a role where you will have significant impact on the associate journey and the growth of Ascend Wellness Holdings.
The role of the Human Resources Manager is to ensure that HR policies and procedures fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organization and its top leadership with a focus on administration, compliance, and management. This position focuses on the big picture in order to improve processes and develop HR strategies that align the organization's overall business strategies. This position will report to the HR Director over IL.
Location: This position is 100% onsite, primarily working out of Collinsville, IL dispensary, and may be asked to travel to Adams Street, Springfield, Fairview, and Horizon Drive, Springfield dispensaries on a weekly basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation to assigned customer organizations and make recommendations on key HR strategies, initiatives, issues, and programs
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to address a variety of topics such as business and workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
- Collaborate with other HR leaders to develop effective solutions and strategies to support key objectives
- Counsel assigned customer organizations on interpretation and application of relevant policies and regulations for situation-specific issues
- Maintain detailed reporting in Excel
- Facilitate resolution of HR concerns and advise on alternative approaches to resolving issues and opportunities for improvement
- Support and/or lead basic HR process improvements and HR projects, with effective change management principles
- Provide thoughtful and tactful communications with the utmost of diplomacy at all times, treating others with dignity and respect, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
- Partner with HR leadership as needed on union matters
- Other duties as assigned
