Job Description


The HR Shared Services Teammate Support Representative is responsible for responding to incoming calls from teammates with requests for information, issue resolution and assistance with field inquires. This position also makes outbound calls to new teammates and existing teammates for support.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries for information as well as issue resolution regarding password resets, new teammate onboarding paperwork, and various teammate inquires
  • Create electronic personnel files and ensure all pertinent personnel-related documentation is included within the file
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other systems to obtain I-9 documentation
  • Work with Managers, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and other HR teammates regarding questions about employee information
  • Send out offer letters and associated forms to the candidate
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required by direct supervisor

Management Responsibility:

The HR Shared Services Teammate Support Representative is an individual contributor to the team and operates under the general direction of the Manager of HR Shared Services


Qualifications


Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months of customer service and human resources experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative in identifying problems, and establishing facts to produce practical decisions and solutions
  • Ability to interpret and execute instructions furnished in written and oral formats
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain the highest confidentiality and preserve data security
  • Able to work collaboratively with multiple levels of the organization and team members
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and change focus quickly to meet business needs within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative in identifying problems
  • Strong customer focus and consistently performs with a sense of urgency
  • HR experience preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and fax machines.

Able to work rotational holidays and on occasion in excess of 40 hours/week and or weekends.

Position requires prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
