Position Description: Presbyterian Village North is currently looking for an Administrative Rehabilitation Tech to join our fantastic team!

Essential Duties:
Model a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients, visitors, and co-workers
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
Maintain good attendance record
Transportation of residents to and from therapy sessions when needed
Clerical duties as assigned by supervisor
Computer data entry as assigned by supervisor, basic knowledge of MS Word, MS excel
Daily therapist/patient scheduling/communicate daily therapy schedule with Therapy team
Manage facility Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including maintaining equipment logs and organizing and track department supplies and their utilization.
Assist in cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas(s) and equipment.
Attend weekly Rehab meetings and other meetings as assigned by supervisor
Other duties as assigned by Rehab Director or Rehab Manager

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Able to successfully complete on the job training with the Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy staff
Demonstrates computer proficiency with therapy billing and clinical software
Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language and to organize work effectively
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with residents and families, doctors offices and other medical entities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, to share information freely, to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing, and to be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
Ability to adjust to changing conditions, frequent demands and stressful situations
Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, handicapped people and hospice Patients
Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements as outlined below
Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities
Ability to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
