Our Hamburg area client is seeking a Hatchery Worker to join their team! Express is offering career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!
Hatchery Worker
Pay: $15/hour
Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Saturday, possibly Sunday (5AM - 4PM)
Location: Leesport, PA
Responsibilities of the Hatchery Worker:
- 1. Monitor incubators as to correct operation, temperature.2. Respond to all alarms during shift.3. Transfer eggs from incubator to hatcher.4. Set eggs from egg cooler to incubator.5. Pull and count babies from hatcher baskets into boxes.6. Other assignments as assigned.7. Ensure proper biosecurity measures are being followed8. Other assignments as assigned.
Qualifications of the Hatchery Worker:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs.
- NO contact with birds outside the workplace
