We are looking for individuals that can work afternoon/evenings (1:00PM-10:00PM) and weekends.

We are searching for a unique individual to be a part of our Guest Service Team. You will be the first and last impression for our members and guests at the Derby Recreation Commission. This position will embrace the DRC Vision to, “Inspire the highest quality of life through exceptional experiences.” As a Guest Service Representative, you will join a team that is dedicated to positively impacting the community through serving others.

  • Provide a positive interaction with customers, face to face and on the phone
  • Point customers to the correct resources for their needs
  • The knowledge to inform customers of accurate programming, facilities, and membership details

  • Proficient computer skills, including data entry, website navigation and other software.
  • Follow up skills and email management to stay informed, aligned and connected with our GS Team.

Essential Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
  • Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certification within 60 days of employment and be able to perform CPR and First Aid as needed
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Some experience in customer service preferred
  • Need to have the ability to see, hear, and move about. Must possess an audible voice for communication and ability to lift light equipment.
