As a member of the Forensic team within the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will be managing global teams and will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Monitor and track the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for the key issues found across the fleet. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the RCA and delivery of the fixes through a pre-determined patch delivery. Drive every RCA to its completion resulting in permanent fixes. Provide workflows for Fleet scans. Drive strategic initiatives e.g rolling out ARM across the Fleet and other such initiatives

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

• Core programming and software architecture and development experience in rich enterprise grade Java Application, Server and Web solutions. These should include many of the following: Java, Java Design Patterns, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, JSP, JQuery, HTML5, Java Script, CSS, REST API development, Web Services, Webservers, Applications Servers

• Experience with one or more development or scripting languages suited for automation, such as Ruby, Python, Perl, PHP, Java/Javascript, Shell

• Strong technical, communications and problem-solving skills and the ability to engage and interact with numerous internal teams including development, QA, product management, and customer support
  • Experience operating and supporting large-scale Internet hosted and/or SaaS/cloud applications
  • A tenacious and persistent attitude to getting to the heart of root cause analysis of logical problems
  • Exceptional hands on experience in multi-server enterprise application installation, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, maintenance, high availability rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems through debugging and deductive reasoning
  • Familiarity with Linux based operating systems Familiarity with hosted application service provider environments, including remote administration of servers and devices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent information management practices, such as thorough documentation, usage of wikis, blogs and other collaboration tools
  • Experience supporting large-scale SaaS based applications and databases
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes including software builds and source code control

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

• Knowledge of ITIL process framework
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated server deployment scripts using tools such as Chef or Puppet is an added advantage

Additional details:
10+ years of technology industry experience with atleast 3+ years in the capacity of a strong Manager, Technical Lead or Architect.

A reliable team player with the ability to multitask, with minimal supervision, technically savvy and a record of problem solving with a strong desire to learn.
