About Our Team

We operate as a full-service, wide-array hospitality company with four generations of experience and dedication. We are located at 1 Celebration Way in Schodack, just 15 minutes from Albany, NY and 25 from Troy. We primarily serve the Capital Region, though our catering fleet can be seen as far as Cooperstown, Lake George, and Kingston. Our team hosts a wide variety of events in our eight versatile venue spaces.

About You

You will be a core member of our utilities crew, working to upkeep our collective 100,000+ square feet of catering space. In addition to our core business, we also operate 100+ collective acres of vineyards, farmland, and pastures. We care for our resident horses, swans, ducks, and dogs, in addition to countless visiting migrators throughout the year. You should be versatile and ready to step in wherever necessary. No two days are the same. You should be able to remain on task with little oversight, but ready to work within a cohesive team.

General Responsibilities we look for our grounds and maintenance crews to perform:

*Participate in special projects throughout the year to renovate or improve areas of concern *Assist maintenance leader and management in responding to issues as they arise *Ability to work autonomous with minimal supervision is a plus *Work to upkeep facilities and properties, including duties such as: * Structural repairs * Finishing improvements * Lawn mowing * Weed/pest maintenance * General landscaping

General Qualifications that we look for in our team members:

*Familiarity with property upkeep, or a willingness to learn *Intuitiveness, versatility, and eagerness to learn from veteran team members *Openness to weekend availability is a plus *Familiarity, or an willingness to receive on the job training in the following: * Machine maintenance * Carpentry * Interior and exterior painting * Plumbing * Finishing and fine construction * Machining or welding * Electrical * Internet and communications infrastructure

We ask that our crew members be comfortable and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds. Comfortability driving large vehicles, heavy machinery, and standard transmission is a plus.

Compensation

We strive to be competitive and meet the expectations of our team. Our crew positions start at $15 per hour and are commensurate with experience, position, and responsibility. As a fourth generation family business, we encourage versatility among our team. As such, we offer very flexible hours and availability to our staff.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00/hour.
