NOVA Engineering is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer in our Norcross, GA office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

The Geotechnical Engineer primary focus of the position is client development, technical execution and project management of work related to Geotechnical Engineering services, both office and field activities, during the planning, design, and construction phases of projects. Projects will be located primarily in the metropolitan Norcross area.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and executing reports and other client correspondence
• Providing oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing and field services as required to meet our Clients’ expectations as projects advance to construction
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Sales and marketing efforts to develop new business and growth of the company
• Preparation of proposals and contract documents
• Assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

Requirements:

• BS Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering
• 1- 2 years of Geotechnical experience preferred, not required
• E.I. required or ability to obtain
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering and related disciplines with the ability and desire to provide creative and practical solutions
• Proof of Clean Driving Record
