Bookkeeper - Residential Construction Description

Our client, a general contractor, is looking for a Bookkeeper to add to their team in Sausalito, CA. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including invoicing, account reconciliation, and contract administration as well as overseeing payroll reporting. Our client is looking for someone with at least three years of accounting experience, including A/R & A/P functions, with experience in job cost accounting. Bookkeeper - Residential Construction Responsibilities

• Input invoices to QuickBooks
• Oversee payroll reporting
• Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Monitor payments for materials, labor, and other expenses for projects
• Contract administration, including billing, payments, and change orders
• Coordinate lien releases

Bookkeeper - Residential Construction Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting (AR & AP) experience required
• Job cost accounting experience required
• Proficiency with Excel required
• QuickBooks experience required
