About The Role:
The Front Desk Support Staff is a dynamic individual that works with the Operations team and program staff to support all BCNC programs. The Front Desk Support Staff reports to the Director of Operations and provides centralized administrative support, program-specific administrative support, inter-office services, and facilities management directly supporting all BCNC programs. This position is part time (15 hrs/week): Tuesdays 1:00-9:00pm, Thursdays 9:00-5:00pm.
What You Will Do:
  • Serve as front desk support at the Quincy site.
  • Greet, screen, and direct all visitors while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the office.
  • Maintain facility security and safety, provide consistent communication with appropriate staff regarding safety issues.
  • Answer, screen, and route all calls to appropriate staff.
  • Provide administrative support to programs, including data entry, and database maintenance.
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations.
What We Look For:
  • Minimum one year experience in related field. High school diploma is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment.
  • Experience working in administration and nonprofit programs preferred.
  • Experience of providing customer service preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently, with attention to detail.
  • Oral skills in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.


Working Conditions:
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule and may require local travel during the workday.
  • Work is performed primarily in a standard work environment, including the operation of computer equipment, and physical demands associated with a traditional work setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions, as necessary.
Hourly Range
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
