Food Truck Expo Job at Pollo Inferno
Pollo Inferno is looking for team members that are passionate and dedicated to their work, with strong customer service skills, and who love food. We are a close knit team of people who like to work hard, and have fun doing it.
As a member of our food truck team, you will have a variety of tasks, including prepping and cooking food, as well as managing the register and talking to customers.
As an Expo, you will ensure quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled accurately and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.
You will be expected to:
- Ensure the “line” and work area are stocked with items needed during the shift and replenished at the end of the shift
- Inspect the dish to confirm that it complies with restaurant food quality standards
- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Explain special orders to the cooks,and tell servers when the kitchen is out of a particular menu item
- Confirm with kitchen staff on plated food with allergies

REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years experience in a commercial kitchen
- Food handlers certificate
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Willing to undergo a background check
We are a roaming Grill House offering Wood Cooked Rotisserie Chicken, Steak and Shrimp in variety of different ways. You may spot us around greater Sacramento area at Wineries, Breweries, Weddings, Corporate, School, or Sporting events.
