Monadnock Developmental Services has a unique opportunity for a Floating Direct Support Professional (DSP).

The Floater will be expected to work in multiple programs and need to be flexible to work any shift including days, nights, weekends and overnights. Must be able to work with all levels of disabilities as well as individuals with behaviors. Schedule is given two weeks in advance.

Direct Support Professionals are responsible for supporting people, with a disability, in their communities to lead fully included lives. They support the strengths, gifts and potential of people with disabilities and aid in the removal of barriers preventing a person with a disability to reach their goals. Position may require job support; teaching daily living skills, household management and supporting the person in creating and developing friendships and other relationships.

Minimum qualifications include a sound ethical foundation, dedication, creativity, commitment to building a relationship, sense of humor and ability to work in a team environment.

Position is Full-Time and includes generous benefit package. Shift differential paid for any hours worked from Friday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 8 p.m.!
