The Fleet Assistant is responsible for supporting the Fleet Administrator in all aspects of fleet management including purchasing parts, keeping and maintaining parts inventory, sending parts and supplies out to outside locations and making sure all equipment services and DOT’s are kept current for maximum uptime.

Fleet Assistant duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with management of truck fleet, including purchasing parts, maintaining parts inventory, and sending supplies to company locations across the country.
  • Ensure equipment services are kept current for maximum uptime.
  • Act as the backup to the fleet administrator, including handling all fleet related communications when administrator is in the field or out of the office.
  • Ensuring all services and DOT’s for Meyer’s Equipment is up-to-date.

Schedule for Fleet Assistant:

  • up to $60,000.00 per year, based on years of experience
  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, Occasional Weekends

Requirements for Fleet Assistant:

  • Previous experience in the Fleet Management. (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Able to understand and carry out directions in order to operate under a schedule in order to meet deadlines.
  • Possess the ability to diagnose or recognize potential issues and recommend/take corrective measures.
