Horseshoe Dealers are Guaranteed $25 per hour rate.

Bonus of $500 at 90 days and $1000 at 1 year!!

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Table Games Supervisor, the Table Games Dealer is responsible for providing legendary guest service.

Essential Job Functions including the following but other duties may be assigned:

  • Delivers great customer service by dealing all games offered by Horseshoe Baltimore in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.
  • Assists in training guests not familiar with various table games products.
  • Promotes table and poker games and serves guests while standing on dead games.
  • Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
  • Deals games in accordance with internal controls, Maryland Lottery Gaming Control Commission regulations and company policy.
  • Able to maintain applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
  • Informs Supervisor and/or Manager of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on game
  • Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
  • Safeguard casino assets.
  • Responsible for the protection and control of the game.
  • Conducts the games in accordance with Company policies and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulatory requirements, Verify and sign for Fills, Credits, Marker Issuance, and all documentations listed in Horseshoes Internal Controls. Handling guest transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
  • Advises Floor Supervisor of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
  • Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines at all times.
  • Promote outstanding guest relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
  • Able to maintain applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
  • Presents oneself in a polished, professional and service-minded way and encourages others to do the same.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required

Must be at least 18-years of age

Must be certified in a minimum of two coregames, preferably three.

Table Games (BJ, Craps, Roulette, MB/PGP 3Carnival Games = 1 core)

Excellent customer service skills are essential

Must be able to perform basic math quickly

Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team

Must present a well-groomed appearance

Well-developed interpersonal skills

Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:

Must be able to work independently

Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours)

Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts

Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps)or escalator

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.;and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel

Respond to visual and aural cues

Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment

Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust,loud noises and bright lights

Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed

Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives

Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

As a part of Caesars Entertainment’s employment process, job offers will be contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, background checks, and applicable Maryland Lottery Gaming Control Commission licensing requirements.

Due to the cyclica lnature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Attendance is an essential function of the job and is required to successfully perform in this position. Individuals with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination of employment.
