Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for our account at St Andrews University – located in Laurinburg, NC.

Reporting to the Director of Facility Operations, the EVS/Custodial Manager will be a Hands-On Manager responsible for execution and delivery of work order flow, ensuring custodial standards and schedules are maintained, coaching and training our frontline staff to be our next generation of salaried managers, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for floor care and grounds. With over 485,000 sq ft cleanable area and multiple buildings across campus – the Custodial Manager will supervise 20-25 custodians, floor care, grounds, and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will:

• provide a clean and safe environment for students, visitors and staff at the university;
• lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
• effectively manage the Unit Operating System and work order systems; and/or
• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery;
• have 5-7 years custodial supervisory or management experience in a large property – college campus, hospital or other large public venues;
• monitor safety and compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
• are results and safety driven; and
• are proficient with computers and other technology;

• Provide leadership and direction to non-exempt employees
