Our organization is currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This individual will also be responsible for conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, and responding to emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental health and safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and illnesses to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.
- Provide training to employees on safety topics.
- Monitor environmental conditions to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $26.44 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
Supplemental pay types:
