CCG Technologies is a growing industrial controls company. We provide services and control equipment to Midstream and Upstream Oil and Gas companies.

This position will be covering projects in the Permian Basin and Delaware Basin areas. Midland, Odessa, Kermit, Wink, Pecos, Orla, Hobbs, Carlsbad etc. All the garden spots.

Minimum 40 Hours per week. Some overtime will be required.

Job Requirements

  • Must have an Engineering or Technical Degree
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Be able to multitask and work on multiple projects at a time.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Able to Use a PC for email and Web searches.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Must be a self-starter.
  • Have good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning experience needed.
  • Ability to read Electrical Schematic and wiring drawings.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas processes (Tank batteries, Separation systems, SWDs, Compressor Stations, Pipeline Stations etc..) is required.

Familiarity with the following is a plus but not required:

  • Industrial Networking
  • Serial (RS232 & RS485) communications.
  • Allen Bradly PLC’s and Rockwell automation software.
  • Wiring PLC's.
  • ScadaPack PLC's and Telepace Studio Software.
  • Red Lion Protocol converters and HMI’s.
  • Prosoft Gateways.
  • Modbus communications and other industrial protocols.
  • Flow computers; Omni, ROC, Spirit.
  • Hart Communications and Transmitter Configurations.
  • Pressure transmitters
  • Temperature transmitters
  • Radar Level transmitters
  • Coriolis Flow Meters
  • PD flow meters
  • Control Valves
  • MOV operators
  • VFDs
  • Soft Starters
  • Motor controls

Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning experience preferred, not required.
Will train on the job.

Job will involve:

  • Setting up and managing projects.
  • Creating drawings, working with drafters.
  • Developing standard design packages.
  • PLC programming and developing standard programs.
  • Reviewing drawings prior to projects being programmed.
  • Starting up Systems in the field.

Compensation will be based on experience and skill levels $80K to $140K per year.

Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
