ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Engineer in our Spindale, NC home office. Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience

Reimbursement of a portion of relocation expenses for a highly qualified candidate willing to relocate

Education/Training expectations for a qualified Electrical Engineer

· High School diploma or GED required

· Associate’s degree in electrical engineering required, and Bachelor’s degree is preferred

· Relevant licenses or certifications preferred

Experience expectations for a qualified Electrical Engineer

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering for large commercial and/or industrial construction projects is preferred. Other relevant experience in project engineering, project management, project controls, pre-fabrication, or estimating will also be considered.

Specific Skills/Duties/Proficiencies expectations for a qualified Electrical Engineer

· Read, interpret, and apply construction documents, drawings, designs, and schematics

· Develop designs and specifications for components of the electrical scope of work on commercial and industrial construction projects

· Identify and implement opportunities for engineered solutions to installation issues

· Experience and proficiency in the use of pre-fabrication for electrical systems installations

· Help drive the efficiency and productivity of electrical installations on commercial construction projects

· Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, and/or ConEst

· Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and an ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team

· Effectively manage an 8-10 person engineering department and support its further growth

Additional Requirements and/or Expectations for a qualified Electrical Engineer

· Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen

· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation

· Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
