Viva Electric is currently seeking an Electrical Assistant to join our team. We are seeking a SELF STARTER, who will continue to help us EXPAND our reputation throughout North Carolina. Our Lead Service Electricians are tasked with leading assigned electrical projects to ensure proper and timely completion, inspecting transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components, installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable laws.

What Will I Be Doing?

• Responsible for assisting Lead Electrical Technician during electrical service and/or residential or commercial construction projects while learning the trade.
• Supplying and hold materials or tools.
• Clean the work area and equipment.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable laws.
• Aids Lead Technician with electrical projects
• Helps keep a clean work area and work vehicle

Do I Have What It Takes?

• Basic experience in electrical service as well as residential and commercial construction.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Personable with strong communication skills in a mostly customer-facing environment.
• Display eagerness to learn the electrical trade.
