Job Summary

Responsible for the creation and execution of online training courses and videos. Maintains Company learning management system and pulls reports to ensure online training needs are met. Works with Company leadership to gather information needed to create training modules and execute training programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Writes instructional scripts for e-learning modules and instructor lead trainings that cover all required content, meet the needs of the business, and communicate the material to the target audience in a clear, professional and engaging way.
  • Creates engaging and clear visual content that effectively teaches partners using text, shapes, photos, icons, animations, quizzes, videos, screen recordings, etc. Records, edits and optimizes vocal narration to be used in e-learning.
  • Plans, films, and edits training videos used to document or teach a process, show example scenarios, etc.
  • Works with all areas of the Company to plan new instructional content and strategize how to execute it most efficiently to achieve the desired outcomes of training initiatives.
  • Administers the Company learning management system (LMS) to upload, test, and assign coursework; create and administer assignment profiles as needed to reach specific job roles, groups, or locations; and to ensure accuracy of all partner assignments.
  • Creates presentations, infographics and logos for various Company leaders, initiatives and trainings.
  • Supports retail stores via phone, email, and materials regarding courses and other training efforts.
  • Creates and distributes reports containing statistics on assignments, completions, and other needs.
  • Troubleshoots e-Learning course issues and communicates with partners for resolution.
  • Manages time and projects effectively to ensure deadlines are met and quality work is produced.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate graphic design experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of Articulate Storyline preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe suite preferred (PhotoShop, Premiere Pro).
  • Basic knowledge of LMS administration experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of e-Learning software preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
  • Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience and/or higher education required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification required.

  • Frequently required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
