BPX Logistics is excited to add a Dispatch Support to our Jacksonville Team!

The role of Dispatch Support will be filled in our Jacksonville Office (currently not able to be completed as in-home due to required interactions with drivers and co-workers). The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm (unless work dictates additional time).

This opportunity starts at $16-$17 per hour

This position will be required to complete the following:

• Consistently and effectively monitor tendered freight through internal tracking, as well as external port/rail websites to ensure equipment is moved in a timely manner to avoid potential demmurage and per-diem charges.
• Trace equipment and update dispatch board with availability and/or last free day information using port websites/portals such as Crowley, TraPac, Blount Island Terminal, Florida East Cost Railway (FEC) and/or CSX rail as needed.
• Continually monitor driver progress and process dispatches using the PCS Express On Line operating system. Work closely with Load Planning/Dispatch regarding status updates, driver availability and/or delays.
• Update Dispatch/Management regarding any issues impacting service and/or driver availability in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain reliable attendance. Encourage and support a positive and professional work atmosphere.
• Must be detail oriented and organized with an ability to meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
• Provide cross-training and instruction to new team members as needed.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite
• Use Proprietary Company Software

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of Intermodal business
• Experience with Intermodal portals: Crowley, Trapac, Blount Island Terminal, FEX/CSX
• Basic understanding of Intermodal business
• Basic understanding of Supporting documentation of Intermodal business
• EIR Tickets
• Chassis Pool use
• BOL
• Container Seal

• Ability to Prioritize daily tasks
• Ability to Multitask
• Ability to Work through tight deadlines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
