POSITION SUMMARY

Directs, supervises, and evaluates the activities of the clinical area. Responsible for all professional programs as well as programs for the Home Health Aides. Meets all regulatory guidelines within State for Florida for this position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Clinical management of day-to-day operations of all clinical services.
  • Organizes and direct the Agency's on-going functions and is available during all operating hours.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Maintain on-going liaison, governing body/owner, PAC, staff members and the community.
  • Administrator is responsible for Day-to-Day operations of the HHA.
  • Assures hiring of qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff on-going education, training, and evaluations.
  • Maintain the Policy and Procedure Manual; reviews/updates on at least an annual basis.
  • Employ qualified personnel, including assuring the development of personnel qualifications and policies. Ensures adequate staff on-going education and evaluation. Ensures that the Clinical Manager is available during all operating hours.
  • Ensure accuracy of agency public information materials and activities.
  • Implement and monitor a budgeting and accounting system.
  • Complete, maintain, and submit all reports required by Federal, State, or Local regulations.
  • Designate in writing a qualified staff member to act in the Administrator's absence and is available during all operating hours.
  • Provide a system of staff communications that ensures coordinated implementation of plan of cares and the utilization of necessary services for the comprehensive care of patients.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy rules, Policies and Procedures may serve as the Privacy officer.
  • Reports any suspected violations of P1ivacy Practice to Privacy official as soon as breach/possible is identified.

EDUCATION:

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Must be licensed in Florida as a registered nurse. Must have two years’ experience, with one year supervision as a registered nurse. BSN and MSN preferred.
