Totally Kids Specialty Healthcare is a small pediatric sub-acute hospital with 45 patients. We are the ONLY long-term care hospital dedicated entirely to children. Our residents' ages range from newborn to 21 years of age and we are dedicated to enriching the health and quality of life for our kids. We are always striving to meet their medical, developmental, social, psychological and spiritual needs of our kids. Be part of a TEAM that passionately cares about the ongoing improvement of our residents. We are looking for a Dietary Cook to become a part of our facility's compassionate caregiving team. Dietary Cook is responsible for food preparation for all residents on the campus.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must have a minimum of one year of experience in food preparation.
• Must possess a current BLSC/CPR certification at all times.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written, oral and interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
• Completion of ServSafe Certification

Dietary Cook Job Duties:

Prepare all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner.

• Prepare foods/meals to be ready and at appropriate temperatures at designated times.

• Properly wash and store all dishes, utensils and cooking equipment.

• Follow departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.

• Maintaining regulatory compliance and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
