Dietary Aide Job at Community Care of Rutherford County
General Duties:
Shall be responsible for assisting the cook in preparation of daily meals for residents and staff, along with preparation of bedtime snacks and distribution to the proper wings. Stocking of wing refrigerators, putting stock away, proper food handling, proper food storage procedures, serving on the food line, preparation of trays and loading onto carts for distribution are also among the daily duties. Cleanup of trays, carts, dishes, pots and pans are also duties that may be assigned to the Dietary Aide on a regular basis. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and overall kitchen sanitation will be a daily practice.

Basic Department Requirements:
- Hairnets are to be worn at all times
- Nametags are to be worn at all times
- Back braces are to be worn at all times
- Smoking is not allowed at any time in the dietary areas, which include the back breezeway and outside cooler area
- Hands must be washed any time you enter the Dietary Department, after touching hair, face, and always before working with food
- Employees must wear clean uniforms daily
- Personal hygiene must be maintained
