Job Description:
The Diet Technician, Registered (DTR) is responsible for assisting patients by addressing their preferences and correcting menus and assisting the Clinical Dietitian in updating the EHR with data and nutritional screens and providing diet education.
Experience:
- 1 year Food Services - DTR (Dietetic Technician Registered) or
- 1 year Diet Office Experience preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
- DTR - Dietetic Technician Registered Required
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on and lead teams
- A thorough knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition and the ability to counsel patients
- Knowledge of medical records and medical terminology
