Job Title: Delivery Driver

Reports to: Branch Leader/Warehouse Leader

Job Objective:

As a Delivery Driver at Western Tool & Supply, we require you to be reliable with high concern, and focus on customer satisfaction. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules while transporting items in a safe and timely manner. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. When not delivering products, drivers may be asked to help out the warehouse team performing functions such as picking orders, putting away inventory, performing cycle counts, or other functions as assigned.

To succeed as a delivery driver, you should be polite and professional with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience. Our delivery drivers are the main face of our company, meaning our customers see more of our delivery drivers than any other person in the company. Therefore, our delivery drivers must look professional and have a strong passion for supplying superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

● Superior customer service where going above and beyond is the norm
● Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating superior customer service and setting the example for other staff
● A professional presence that creates trust and credibility
● Loading, transporting, and delivering high-quality products to customers in a safe, timely manner
● Assists with loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles
● Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process

● Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and delivered to the correct customers

● Adheres to assigned routes and follows schedules
● Abides by all transportation laws and maintains a safe driving record
● Prepares reports and other documents relating to deliveries
● Assists with warehouse duties (picking orders, cycle counts, etc)
● Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

● High school diploma or equivalent
● Valid driver's license and clean driving record
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
● Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
● Strong attention to detail
● Must be 21yrs of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
