Liberty Healthcare Corporation of North Carolina is now hiring for a part-time Customer Support Specialist position.

Liberty’s Customer Support Specialists work in a professional virtual call center environment and assist callers with a wide range of issues related to multiple state Medicaid programs including program assessments, approvals, denials, and general program information.

Your responsibilities in this position will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer support and service by phone
  • Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Identifying customer needs and resolving a wide range of issues
  • Researching policies and providing correct information to customers
  • Keeping accurate records of all conversations in software system
  • Adhering to HIPAA requirements for caller privacy
  • Participating in training activities to improve your knowledge and skills

As a Customer Support Specialist you can expect to be paid $18.00 per hour.

You will regularly work between 25-29 hours per week, Mondays through Fridays, with work hours roughly between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

This is a "remote first" position which will primarily allow you to work remotely from your home office with the occasional need to be physically present in-person for meetings in Liberty’s office in Raleigh, NC.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • High school diploma
  • At least one year of experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills
  • Strong active listening and problem solving skills
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills
  • Residency in the greater Raleigh area
