JOB SUMMARY

Serve customers by directing phone calls, scheduling conference room bookings and set ups, communicating with other departments including maintenance, housekeeping, office services and landscaping requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

For this position:

  • Greet staff members and assist with their requests. Provide staff with general building information.
  • Operate the switchboard while maintaining a warm and clearly understood greeting. Connect calls using good problem solving and decision-making skills to best handle the call.
  • Receive work orders for Office Services, Maintenance, Landscaping and Housekeeping. Input into on-line work order system.
  • Maintain reservation system for conference rooms and correspond with staff and ministries. Meet with staff to determine space, equipment and supply needs. Provide technical, creative and practical suggestions for room use and set-up. Set up conference rooms and events as needed
  • Coordinate the Lake Hart Paper Store: Maintain adequate paper supplies by monitoring paper levels, forecasting needs and ordering supplies. Assist staff by answering questions and receiving feedback. Oversee sales and obtain and process payment.
  • Stock micro markets (snack machines) at Lake Hart; evaluate needs, restock daily and purchase snacks monthly. Train staff on the Snackdot@cru mobile app and kiosk.

Required Experience:


Any combination equivalent to:

  • High School graduate AND
  • Minimum three (3) years- experience in customer and public service oriented work.
  • Must possess sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed.
