Description:

The Marek Health Customer Service Representative works directly with customers, affiliates, influencers, and coworkers to provide a great experience, drive brand loyalty, and resolve issues. As such, we seek candidates who focus on individualized service and have a priority driven mindset. This position will interact with external and internal people via phone, live chat, social media, and email. As an ever-evolving company within a rapidly changing industry, our community turns to the Customer Service Department for empathy, knowledge, and solutions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming patient calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate internal staff
  • Possess an influential and welcoming communication style
  • Remains HIPAA-compliant and represents the company in a unified fashion
  • Other duties as outlined by Marek Leadership
  • Act as the first point of contact for the external customer regarding processing orders, order statuses and inquires, inside sales support, and resolving customer concerns. Assures prompt order processing and resolution
  • Analyze various correspondence including orders, ship reports, discrepancy reports and sales information to effectively serve the customer
  • Establish and maintain full product knowledge
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers both in person and digitally
  • Handle complaints and provide reasonable solutions or alternatives in a timely manner
  • Provide support and information as needed to other departments
  • General administrative duties as assigned
  • Provide support on special projects as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, CRM system experience preferred
  • Candidates will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and critical thinker regarding problem resolution.
  • Dependable, accountable and timely in attendance and work.
  • Detail oriented, thorough, and proactive.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
  • Ability to liaison between internal and external stakeholders
  • Candidates are expected to have an exemplary work ethic, be well-presented in a physical and virtual work environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Service mindset internally and externally.
  • Health or fitness industry experience would be preferable.

Remote position for Pontiac, MI location.
