It's an exciting time to join IFF's Customer Service Team in Hazlet, NJ! Professionalism, self-development and being a good team player are key values in this role. The Customer Account Specialist is the in-house contact for IFF’s Customers and affiliates, coordinating all their needs through the appropriate departments from initial inquiry through shipping of raw material or final product.

As a Customer Service Specialist you'll spend your time....

• Maintaining all Customer related master data.
• Handling all order changes, either Customer initiated or IFF initiated, and communicate status to appropriate parties.
• Tracking order fulfillment progress and proactively communicate exceptions to Customer and management.
• Responding to order-related Customer inquiries and complaints. Preparing forecasts, safety stock and inventory information as needed.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
• Handling customer complaints and credit notes in a timely and professional manner;
• Ensuring success and customer satisfaction by closely monitoring of IFF customer KPI's and score card.
• Facilitating regular service reviews with your customer accounts.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as part of your backup role. Responding to order-related customer inquiries and facilitating decision making which is acceptable for both the customer and IFF.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• 1+ years experience in a customer service role is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills is essential.
• Excellent presentation skills are crucial and a high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and partner with internal and external IFF customers.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• SAP Knowledge strongly preferred
